MoneyWatch Account Deletion
Delete inside the app
- Open Settings → Premium and ads.
- Select Delete account while signed in.
- Enter DELETE and choose Delete permanently.
If you cannot use the app
Send a request from the email address used for the account. Do not send a password, purchase token, or promotion code. Identity verification may be required.
What is deleted or de-identified
- Supabase login account, email, user ID, authentication information, and account-linked age profile
- Plus/Premium entitlement, code-redemption link, family-account link, and other account-linked server data, except limited records below
- If the account was a family member, identifying membership information is removed or de-identified and family access ends
Limited retention
An anonymous family seat-cooldown record may remain for up to 30 days. Security, fraud-prevention, dispute, payment-verification, or legally required records may be retained only as necessary and then deleted or de-identified. Google controls Play transaction and subscription records.
Data stored on the device
Budgets, income, installments, spending, memos, tags, goals, and settings stored locally are not erased by server-account deletion. Clear them with the app’s reset options, Android app-data deletion, or uninstalling the app. A guardian can remove an under-14 child-device profile in Family access management and clear the child device’s app data.
Google Play subscriptions and purchases
Account deletion does not cancel a Google Play subscription. Cancel it first in Google Play subscription management. Restoration may require signing in again with the same Google account.
Processing time
In-app deletion is normally immediate. Email requests are normally completed within 7 days after identity verification, except for limited records described above.
